Technology

Speedy Heavy Hauling utilizes a fleet of the most technologically advanced cranes from Liebherr. The "All Terrain" cranes with their outstanding lifting capacity and ergonomically designed operator cabs allow us to work with productivity in mind.  Live Qualcomm GPS integration in all of our trucks allows for real-time billing, live communication with drivers, and easy coordination of large rig moving operations throughout North America.

Speedy installs live hydraulic winch systems that harness the power of the engine crank, some rated up to 130,000lbs.  This allows our drivers to have full control of the load and truck at all times. The advent of hydraulic winches has helped prevent the overloading and breaking of winches and winch lines providing a safer and more productive work environment.

The powerful hydraulic systems have paved the way for more specialized load moving equipment.  Hydraulic push bars on the tail end of a Bed Truck/Gin Truck allow us to spot and center buildings without having to lift the buildings twice. Hydraulic chock blocks are another innovation that comes in very handy when the trucks have to skid a rig or pull a load in icy or muddy conditions.

All Bed Trucks/Gin Trucks come equipped with SISU planetary drive axles that allow for reliable operation in the deep mud and steep mountainous terrain found in the Rocky Mountain areas. Speedy has recently introduced 6x6 Tractors/Bed Trucks and an 8x8 Bed Truck for the worst terrain conditions.
